6. The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God. 8. The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ. Rom 3:21-31; 4; 5:1-5

9. The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness. Joh 3:5; 6:44; 14:16-17, 26; 15:26; 16:6-11; Act 1:8; 5:34; 1Co 2:11 14; 12:13; Rom 6:9-11, 8:1-39; 1Jo 5:7

...and Spirit Filled

1. We believe in the person, presence and power of God, the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin and lives in every believer to assure, guide, and enable them to live godly lives and display the fruit of Christlikeness. Gen 1:2; Gen 6:3; Psa 51:11; Psa 139:7; Isa 40:13; Isa 44:3-4; Luke 4:18; John 1:33; Acts 1:8; John 16:7-14; Romans 5:3-5; Romans 8:1-39; 1 Cor 2:10-14; 1 Cor 3:16; 2 Cor 1:22; Eph 1:12-14; Gal 5:22-23; 1 John 3:24

2. This same Spirit also empowers the church to be effective witnesses for Christ, anointing them to preach the Gospel and operate in the supernatural spiritual gifts in order to edify the church, establish the Kingdom of God, and fulfill the Great Commission. Mat 3:11; John 1:33; Mark 1:8; Luke 3:16; Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 34:46-49; Acts 1:5-8; Acts 2:1-4; 1 Cor 1:5-7; 1 Cor 12:4-11; Eph 4:7-13; 1 Pet 4:10;

The Summit Kids

At The Summit Kids we want your kids to know Jesus and everything about Him!

Our great team of volunteers make it engaging and fun. Class time is filled with an age appropriate lesson, Bible verse memorization, coloring or crafts, a simple snack, and with the Gospel being shared often. Families worship together on Sunday morning and then the kids go to their respective classes before the preaching begins. For children nursery through middle school.
